Why planners keep failing
Many people with ADHD tell the same story about planners and to-do apps. It goes something like this.
- Out of sight, out of mind. If a task lives three taps deep in a folder, it doesn't exist.
- The list only grows. Thirty items is not a plan. It's a wall, and you bounce off it.
- Missing a day breaks the streak. Then the app becomes a place that makes you feel bad, so you stop opening it.
- Setup is a project. Tags, projects, colors, templates. By the time it's organized, the spark is gone.
- Time is slippery. Things are either now or not now, and "later" has no shape.
How NynLyf is built differently
- One screen. All nine areas of your life are visible at once. Nothing hides in a folder.
- Three priorities. Today is three things long. A list that short stays true, and number one is the one that matters most.
- No streaks and no notifications. Skipped days skip. Nothing counts days in a row, and nothing pings you.
- Zero setup. The nine tiles already exist. Add one task and you're using it.
- Later gets a shape. A read-only link to your calendar puts what's coming up right under your tiles.
- A cat instead of an alarm. Nyn naps on the tile you've ignored the longest. You notice him when you look, not when he interrupts.
The whole screen. Nine tiles, three rows, nothing hidden.
Diagnosed or not
NynLyf was built for anyone whose attention wanders. You don't need a diagnosis to hate a nagging app, and you don't need one to use this.
What it won't do
It won't replace medication, therapy, coaching, or a timer for things that have to happen at an exact minute. It's a place to look, and a kinder one than most.
Questions
Is NynLyf an ADHD app?
It's a life app. It wasn't built only for ADHD, but it was built around the ways planners usually fail people with it.
Why does it cost $5 instead of being free?
It's $5 once, not a subscription. Free apps pile up and get forgotten. A small price paid once is a nudge to actually open it tomorrow.
Does it work with my calendar?
Yes. Paste a private calendar link from Google, Apple, or Outlook and your upcoming events show at the bottom of the screen. NynLyf only reads it. It never changes your calendar.
Can I try it before I buy?
You can poke around a demo life first. Nothing you do there saves.
See your whole life on one screen.
Nine tiles. Three priorities. No streaks, no notifications, and a cat who naps on whatever you've been ignoring. $5 once for the first 500 Lyfers.
